I think any candidate for a significant office (President, U. S. Senator or Congressman, state Governor) should present two sets of documents, each time he/she files to be a candidate.

1. Edacted copies of the preious 7 years of tax returns, verified by the IRS, and,

2. A complete, reliable, health examination report (to catch health and mental problems that could adversely affect job performance).
