Re: Way to woo the vote!

Perhaps I had a bit of a spasm regarding the previous poster, and I agree that calling others stupid is most likely not productive. However, if McCain wins, we will continue on the same destructive course plotted for 8 years now. Hillary is complicit in that, and she needs to bow out of the race.

While Obama may not be able to win the general election, I know for a fact that Hillary will be buried by the republican pigs. Please consider: She has had a long and very, very divisive history. She has failed to win the majority in her own party! This is where her support is strongest! Do not forget that the most rabid Hillary haters are in the Republican party and that 8 years of Bill scandals, Hillary lies, etc. will get trotted out and run through the media ad nauseam. Her most recent flap regarding the "sniper experience" in Bosnia will only be the tip of the iceberg.

Further, how can a candidate who is not only "loose" with the truth, but sloppy in her lying be good for this country? She has had two major (and very sloppy) run-ins with the truth so far: the Edmund Hillary affair, and the Bosnia affair. These also include the other run-ins regarding SCHIP, peace in Northern Ireland, which were just as bad, but nearly so sloppy. There is no need to "swiftboat" Hillary, there are plenty of well documented snafus that cast her capability into question.

Hillary isn't winning by any metric. If she forces a brokered convention and then results in a republican president ... it just may well destroy our country. My brother lived in Russia from the early 90s to early 2000. He watched the promise of democracy fall apart and the rise of the current oligarchy. Internal division, very similar to that seen in our own national politics, was at the root. I'm not sure Hillary will deserve forgiveness if she facilitates the destruction of the greatest nation in the history of the world.
