I thought your post was interesting, I went further and read the link on Obama cult and God gene. It makes sense that the god gene would be important to keep groups together. It is probably why we evolved as we did, throughout histories probably the godless could not survive within heavily religious groups, and could not keep their own groups together to ensure survival.

I'm agnostic. I'm not sure if that means I lack the god gene entirely or else I have a toned down version of it, but it seems to take a lot of faith to believe in nothing and I am just way too neurotic for that.

On Obama, maybe it is because I'm agnostic, but I just don't get it, he is a skinny white kid from some prep school smarming around acting like he's god. I look at obamanites and I just think they are stupid, but then again its about what I think about fundamentalists.
