Sorry, but the bullshit seems to be on your side, my friend. The original poster was onto something. Would bet that adult tix cost multiples of kids' and a ton of Disney margin is made on the adult tix. No kid EVER shows up without an adult (and almost always two of them) while adults show up without kids all the time. As to the former, you don't lose much margin by not charging for the kids AND you probably more than make up for any lost profit on the kids' tix through all the extras the doting parents splurge on IN the park -- photos with Mickey, fast food, plush toys, ice cream, etc. As to the latter, two adults without kids are likely to have higher disposable income and no reason to give em a break (especially as they're less likely to spend on treats in the park).
Your post only restates the problem (kudos for the blindingly obvious realiziation that price discrimination is at work -- do you think there are mouse ears too?), and then manages to say something stupid.
Next time, think before you insult a poster.
