I'm not sure how you don't realize this, but the earth was here long before we were and will be here long after. The earth will heal it's self, you just may not be here to see it.I have never understood the thought process of someone to think that we are any more than a brief moment in the existence of the earth, it's seen worse and will see worse, you won't, because when the earth decides it's sick of cleaning up after us, it will kill us off. It's the circle of life, or for us, the lack thereof. The earth doesn't belong to us, we belong to it.
