Re: What I've learned from neo-cons about patriotism
by jeqal

Patriotic \Pa`tri*ot"ic\, a. [Cf. F. patriotique, Gr. ? belonging to a fellow-countryman.]

Inspired by patriotism; actuated by love of one's country; zealously and unselfishly devoted to the service of one's country; as, a patriotic statesman, vigilance.

Source: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)

What are the symbolic gestures of patriotism

1. Stars and Stripes IE: Red/White/Blue IE American Flag

2. Star Spangled Banner

3. Apple Pie

4. Grandma

It has been long established that a flag represents a country. It is more than a piece of cloth. More than a few men and women have died in order to keep the flag visible in battle, it rallies the troops, it gives us hope when we fear.

If you are against the symbol of the flag then start a petition to have the symbol removed from American life.

Global taxation and elimination of the Red/White/Blue

Finally, we find out what Obamanites pom poms are made of.
