mad dogs and journalists

and newly-born geese (ducks?) will follow mindlessly whatever is dangled in front of them. The rest of the world knew that Bush was a disaster when he was running for president in 2000, and was horrified and aghast when he randomly wanted to start a war with Iraq, but the American media kept quiet and let him do his thing. The 'fourth estate' in this country has shown that it cannot be trusted more than a herd of sheep. And a free, independant, unbiased media is one of the main bases of a functioning democracy. So we know where we are.

Now, again, I see the same mass hypnotism at work with the Obama/Clinton campaigns. Anything Obama does is pure, good, impressive, correct, right (Wright?). Anything Clinton does is wrong, hateful, divisive, cold, calculating. And ALL of the media agrees, and calls for her to step down.

If only you actually did some reporting based on reality, rather than this one-sided b.s. you churn out, YOU would be better reporters and the world would be a better place, and America would not be so down in the dumps.
