First, reading someone's post is a great source for learning the basics about what they actually said. Might be better to read the post before firing off an uninformed opinion.

I did not claim to "not really understand," you may be confusing me with someone else. I know what "structuring" is dumbass. I work for a bank.

Yes, the government asserts a right to scrutinize all your financial transactions, without any probable cause that you committed a crime. They have asserted this right for years, and it has become accepted. The government has also asserted the right to tell you what body parts you can put into or onto the body parts of your partner when you are in your own bedroom. It has also asserted the right to keep you from voting, based on the color of your skin. These things have all been accepted functions of "government" either now or in the past.

Doesn't make them right.

Spitzer's an ass. So what? Are we going to start locking up people for that? Better watch out...
