From where I sit, unless one or the other of the two Democratic clowns manages to get a clear majority without the superdelegates - and I don't see it happening - there is going to be a firefight at the convention in August. If that happens, the Democrats end up handing the election to McCain on a silver platter, because for reasons I don't comprehend both clowns have fanatically devoted followers that don't get on with the other side. They won't change loyalties.

A unity ticket will not work. Whoever wins the convention has to pick a veep candidate that is a break from the dogfighting of this campaign for the nomination. I don't think enough time will be left between the convention and the election to properly 'brand' the team and get the points that need making across.

All things considered, I want a bumper sticker that says, "Darth Vader for President. I'm tired of choosing the lesser of two evils."
