I sat down as I pondered a limerick
And detected instead a strange gimmerick
The rules they are flouncin'
Starts my head a bouncin'
Mercy me, did I just write a glimmerick?

It will probably be decades before I can ever use this one -

I tried to get a parallax view
That I might discover something new
Like tracks that seem to meet
sea joins skyas they retreat
And tend to merge in the distant blue.
