Nine Mill? It's everywhere, again, but it isn't cheap. Practice up and get in closer. Though occaisionally I hear a widely passing shot, never the report. Those 20 shot 9mms are designed for less than 150 yards with a rest. With my Ruger Seurity Six I can make a head shot at that range with open sights if my blood sugar is right and the light is good from a solid rest.

Tol you, It's a .38. Plus I get bored after the first two clips. After that I am ready to go home. I might pick up a 22 long rifle to take out to the outdoor range and just plink all day. but, it's over 100 every day here so I think I might wait til fall.

We have a pretty spiffy range here at Central Whidbey. If I want a few minutes of fellowship and informal shooting less than 100 yards I go to my brother's place. He's usually in the mood.

I think we like the noise, the smell and the he-haw when you hit something. Haven't had time for the black powder, and I have a virgin Kentucky LR replica from Cabelas I want to fire someday.
