It seems romance has about a 7 year duration.

Unfortunately children take about 18 years to mature tho there is some evidence the 7 year duration is based on the fact that children are able to walk and gather their own food at that point.

I don't begrudge the governor his romance.

I begrudge him being a self righteous upstanding type who judged others and a hypocritical lier who held out that he believed in one set of standards for everyone else that he didn't hold to himself.

Of course, as a true skank (with multiple affairs), he probably found a lot more success pretending to be that way because it puts him in a place where he has more money and a lot of targets.

I still can't judge him to harshly-- in my long experience, it seems that *everyone* and I mean *everyone* lies-- from 3 year olds to 90 year olds.
