Really. You will "allow me"? Excuse me? I wasn't aware the US federal government was ever given the power to make that call.
Placebo, can you cite that "quote"?

allow? pfft...faulty indignation.

haven't you ever heard of a preferred provider network. That's been an industry standard for years now.

That's right! Currently, it's the right of my employer-based health insurer to make that call. I'm so glad because nothing is more nuturing than a corporate toady standing between me and my health care provider, whose year end bonus is determined by the amount of claims he denies. God knows, "profit motive" is just another term for "sharing is caring."

You dumbass.

And how many doctors have given up on accepting HMOs because they pay so little of the charges? How many doctors have the HMOs dropped because that same "corporate toady" decided that they were writing too many referrels to specialists?

This is a serious question NC...

Do you think that $800-$1000 per month for family coverage is an outrage?

Depends on the family size actually.

I know a family that has 13 kids.

Thats 15 people.

Is it too high for 15 people?

It's probably just about right for 15 people...now for 2 or 3 or 4...an outrage!

How many Americans do you think could pay that same $800-$1000 per month themselves?

You all rail against government insurance but don't realize that you pay for the insurance of government employees...federal, state, city, county...even those who can not afford their own insurance help to pay for others through their federal and local taxes.

Liar.
Rush Limbaugh misquoted him that way
by cassandra

In fact, Obama said that the PROPOSAL would allow people to keep their present physicians. You don't believe what RUSH says...do you?

Your insurance company has been telling you which doctor you can go to for years; or weren't you aware of that? And, the"bean counters" at the insurance company get a bonus for every claim they deny!

No one said anything about "allowing" you to keep your present doctor. That was just more of Limbaugh's phoney "indignity" meant to be parroted by you ditto-heads. No intelligent person takes him seriously.
