Actually, I don't care about Denny's plagiarism. Maybe I would if he were taking my stuff but I don't write anything that is worth stealing. He isn't one of my favorite people in the world but he is better than assholes like the Jackass or Wilson...and most poetry bores me anyway after about 20 minutes.

In fact, I find this whole matter boring. It should be dealt with by the editors, not by the posters. The relations between posters has more to do with personalities than with ethics.

It was not. You are a liar and bad person for even recognmizing a poem from high scholl then calling out the theif. Denny is nice and you are nobody worth anything".

Well, to be quite honest the editorial staff at Slate has dealt with Denny on numerous occasions but like the loon on this thread [who has been banned more times than any poster on Slate and is just now coming back from another banning] he always finds a way to slither back. I do not hate Denny but I disrespect him for his unethical behavior.

Oh honey, I am happier than hogs eatin slop about the election and how it went. Finally we can expect some ethics from the highest office in the land. So far so good.

I went through some radiation in the Fall and still can't walk upstairs w/o getting exhausted but I'm still alive enough to complain.

As I said (well, implied), where people get the words for their posts isn't as important to me as the content of those posts. Last week Denny, Jackanapes and some other Righties were saying that Bush (et al) couldn't be held criminally accountable for his actions in office. That is an offense to the nation that I find hard to abide. Where he got the words to make that claim is immaterial to me.

Maybe poetry doesn't mean much to me because I wrote some 30 years ago and nobody liked it. ;-) Actually, I wrote it for me and not for 'them'.
