This has to be a record.

The "record" being, the shelf life of the latest hail mary, "save me I'm drowning stunt" by the McFailin' campaign.

Last night, the nation was introduced to Joe "The Plumber".

After the debate, it was pretty clear that he was going to become Joe "The Life Preserver" for the McFailin' campaign.

This morning, "Joe" was showing his mug and running his mouth in front of anyone that would listen.

And what did he get for all this "fame" he was basking in?

By noon, he was shown to be "not undecided", "practicing plumbing without a license", "not in any position to buy any sort of business", "completely clueless as to what Obama's tax proposals are", "a tax cheat" (as he has a lien on his house), and an "overall fraudulent, right-wing scammer".

He asked Obama a loaded question, based on what he dreams about making. Not on any solid plan he has in the works. Just happened to be the cut off figure for Obama's proposal.

Seriously, where's "Joe, The Broke-Ass, Nut-Wing Partisan, Tax Cheat, Fraud That Couldn't Even Bother To Get A License, Or Vote, After All These Years" going to get someone to extend him some credit in this "Bush economy/credit crunch"?

Aren't you Repubs always deriding people that don't have their shit together. He's one of yours. One of many hypocrites, I'm sure.

Own him if you like.

Dems smelled a snake right off the bat.

The McFailin' campaign was ready to latch on to this guy.

That's how much they're drowning.

Guess they didn't learn their lesson

After the palin fiascos, you'd think they would have learned a thing or two about vetting. And after the last month or so, you'd think they would have learned a thing or two about talking silly shit instead of real issues.

I never predicted any stunt this stupid, and you know how little I think of the gop.

BAM!

Um...nothing to add...that was one serious smackdown.

Yes M'am...don't ever want to get on your bad side :)

Nice work.
Drowning McBush grabbed Joe Plumber "Life Saver"

& Joe Plumber is an anvil just like the Con Bimbo.

Sad.

It's true, cg. GOPervs just don't build their products with quality anymore.

This has to be the shortest shelf lives I've ever seen in one of their campaign stunts.

There was a also a buzz today about "Joe" possibly being related to Charles Keating.

Dunno if that's true, but the whole thing stinks like Karl Rove.

I hear ya, Smiley. We were all wondering what the next stunt was gonna be.

Each one has proven to be more idiotic than the last.

I liken it to a drowning person that, in their panic, ends up taking the person trying to save them, down with them.

"Joe the Fraud" would've been just another dolt for McCain, asking Barack a stupid question on the campaign trail.

But NOOOOOO!!!!

McFailin' couldn't resist latching onto this nonsense that had officially blown up in their faces by noon today.

True
by Smiley1979

palin lasted a few weeks, the campaign suspension 3 or 4 days, and now less than 24 hours...

I guess their next stunt will self-destruct before they're even finished performing it.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. McCain put his foot in this one, like you said, believing Joe would be his saviour. Possibly if he hadn't misrepresented himself, he could have provided some cover for McCain. The campaign still has not learned the value of vetting. Another spectacular miscalculation.

Ha! Thanx Indy!

The Mac campaign is engaged in non-sensical childs play.

Totally desperate with time running out.

Outrageous robo-calls are now the order of the day.

These Pug liars know what they're doing.

They had tens of millions of people last night listening to McCain's lies based on Joe the Plumber, and relatively few of them will learn today about what a fraud "Joe" is.

Bingo! But they felt they had to "grab onto something".

I read a little something about that.

It's not quite solid, but we'll know soon enough.

Repubs, for all their screeching about Barack's "supposed associations", really don't know a damn thing about the instant information age, and how they almost immediately get trapped by it.

relatively few of them will learn today about what a fraud "Joe" is.

True enough, many will not hear the truth about Joe, but, whenever McCain has made what looks like a winner, Palin for instance, there has been reverse payoff. The media is not finished with Joe. In the next news cycle something more could float to the top and the longer his foibles stay in the news, the worse it is for McCain.

Absolutely, Henna.

It seems as if they're now reduced to plucking some clown off the street. Not unlike the VP pick.

But then, with the "Keating association" still being looked into, "Joe The Fraud" may prove to be a lot more of a headache for McFailin'.

Everything they "grab" onto, seems to be proven a wrong move.
