"We don't know why, and we don't know what it means."

Why is this a bad thing? Many people are still confused, and I almost think it is a more appropriate way to set up a memorial. These are very different times, so why not install a memorial to match that?

Memorials do not have to be practical. I would hardly call any memorial installation practical, unless it doubles as a museum (ie Holocaust museums, etc).

An honest statement for a change. The average American, from the President on down, simply has no concept that we have been abusing the Arab world for 100 years or so. disigny
