Cheap shot at the Medical Community. The continued influx of "illegals" with nowhere else to go when they need medical assistance ought to be at the top of the list. Where do the "presumptive" nominees stand on that one?

***sigh*** this gets old. No one verifies the legal status of the patient when they come in to the ER. It is ILLEGAL to do so. Your "opinion" is based solely on your bias. We get plenty of American people who can't seem to provide ID or even remember what thier birthday is. They just don't want a bill- regardless of thier immigrant status.

Sorry, I live in a boarder town and work in the busiest ER in the city. I assure you, Mexicans are NOT the problem. They by and large are the BEST patients I care for and most truly appreciate the care I give them. Most have intact and extended families who care for and respect their elders. Most of our "problem children" are meth addicted white people. Hands down, the most EVIL drug ever created by man. I'm so sick of Americans blaming Mexicans who are only here because our government refuses to vigorously prosecute EVERYONE who hires an illegal. When you pick one up outside of your local Home Depot, YOU are the problem. when we call the police when we wittiness our neighbor working an illegal and they do nothing OUR GOVERNMENT is the problem. Have you ever thought about how many illegals work all day for Americans then at the end of the day are told they wont pay them? What legal protections do they have. This abuse occurs daily. Ive seen it personally where I live. Just like the ER crisis, the problem and solution rests in our hands.
