They are dreaming if they thinkit is a snipe hunt!
by Lulubelle22

These people need to pay attention. There are over 50 sites for Democrats for McCain. It is not just women who are crossing over. It is the men also. If you thinkit is just a few people you are sadly mistaken. I go around the internet and read everybody's comments and there are very few that are pro-Obama. Personally, I think McCain will win in a landslide.

very few that are pro-Obama
by jazzguitarman

I find it healthy that there are few pro-Obama supporters. Obama is new to the political process and since he lacks a detailed VOTING record I see no legit reason to be 'pro-Obama'.

But there are many reasons based on McCain's track record and his support of the failed GOP policies to be Anti-McCain \ GWB \ GOP.

I believe the election will be very close unless

1) McCain dances on GWB's grave. If McCain throws GWB under the bus than he will win by a good margin

2) McCain has GWB \ Dickhead help him. Then Obama will win by a good margin.

they dont care lulu

their heads are so far up obama's bum

none of them are thinking properly

i agree

obama will have a hard time winning

especially when he keeps THROWING AWAY whole groups and whole states of voters.....what naive thinking

I care - it is you that don't
by jazzguitarman

You are throwing away ONE vote and that is yours if you write in HRC name.

What naive thinking!

If you care why would you vote in spite?????

Writing in HRC name is a vote in spite, isn't it???? IF not, PLEASE tell me what it is.

You're right we don't care
by Thevail

If you say, as you have been saying, that nothing and no one will ever convince you to vote for Obama, why should we continue to play ball with you?

Why should we continue to discuss this with you?

Why should you continue to want to discuss this with us?

Either you will vote Obama or you won't. You've gone to great lengths to let all of us Obama supporters know that you think we're idiots, that we make no sense to you, and that WE'RE not going to change your minds.

Guess what, you have even less chance of changing ours.

If nothing anyone says to you will sway your opinion, why should we even talk to you about this? It just gives you a reason to keep ranting.

That's called enabling you few screamers to be drama queens. It's letting someone rant and rave while you endlessly try to placate them.

And while we will endlessly try to make peace with and convince those Clinton supporters who are "on the fence", there is no point in dealing with a bunch of attention hounds.

It's letting a child get it's way by giving in to it's tantrum. Never a good idea.

And how many of those sites are part of the republican campaign to make people think that the dem party is divided? Since there is no way to know who is behind these sites, we can only guess that some number of them are there because McCain is losing and there is some hope that in confusion there is opportunity.....

by the way, McCain is behind in the polls and as soon as the two are on stage, side by side, the gap between the two will grow and it will be clearer to you that McCain is not the maverick....he is Bush III.

Re: They are dreaming if they thinkit is a snipe hunt!
by jazzguitarman

It does look like more than a 'few' feel GWB III is better than Obama the First!

So what; That they place the two on stage, side by side.

After that first Kerry \ GWB debate I was dancing all night! There was NO WAY that the vast majority of American couldn't see that GWB was a complete fool and moron. That he really was like punch drunk.

Well we all know how 2004 turned out!

I still can't understand the voters who decided, at the last minute, that Bush wasn't such a bad guy......remember that it was still a pretty close election.....and Bush had help from the Swift Boat BS and a poorly run campaign by Kerry.

Read Frank Rich's column in the Sunday Times for a breakdown of the numbers. Obama has a wider lead over McCain than Bush ever had over Kerry; he has better support from white women than Bush did; he has better support from Hispanics than Kerry did; hell, while he trails McCain by 20 points among white men, Bush beat Kerry by 23 points with that group.

The idea that there are lots of Democrats -- women or otherwise -- who are turning to McCain is simply a fiction. Which makes sense. If you base your vote on anything other than racism, and you agree with Democratic policies and principles, why on earth would you vote for a anti-choice, anti-environment, pro-war, pro-fundamentalist, misogynistic, addled, ancient, Bush wannabe?

Re: They are dreaming if they thinkit is a snipe hunt!
by jazzguitarman

Again, what makes sense is for liberal Dems to support the Lib dem candidate and that would be Obama.

But what also made sense is that everyone could see after 4 years of GWB that he was a total failure. Well voters didn't vote based on making sense!

Yes, why on earth!!!! I don't know. All I know is only on this earth!

(but I do understand that what we see here at the Fray (immature, crazy HRC supporters who say they WILL support McCain over Obama AND they have friends!) is NOT representive of HRC voters as a whole)

I'll feel better when we get to November 1 and Obama is kicking McCain's ass by 15 points.....
Re: You're right we don't care
by sadie1957

Really I wish you wouldn't discuss Obama with us. I have chosen to move on to McCain with my vote, and just because I have been a democrat all my life does not mean I must continue to do so. All your bandwagoning for Obama will mean nothing in November, the change will be McCain.

Which McCain?

The one the media loves to portray as "independent" and for "change" or the McCain that has pledged to nominate Scalia-clones to the supreme court, stay in Iraq 100 years and jokes about bombing Iran?

McCain changes.....
by middleview

1. We will go from a $10 trillion debt to $14 trillion in his first year, with his corporate tax cuts and his additional tax cuts for rich people.

2. We will have 1,000 fewer American servicemen. They will have died in Iraq.

3. We will have $5 per gallon gas.

4. Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

I can't remember when people who actively participate on some internet sites became representative of the entire voting public...
