Is anyone going to EVER comment on how boring Tim Gunn is? His outfits are extremely conventional to the point of invisibility, he has no personality whatsoever, and while he has an interesting intellectual and professorial take on burgeoning designs, there is nothing at all interesting about what he wears. In fact, I would go so far as to say he wears clothing that looks like its from J.C. Penney. Can't he get something interesting going on? Like new eyeglasses, for starters? I mean, I know he thinks he is supposed to fade into the woodwork, but considering what a central role he plays in the show, you'd think he'd try to spice it up a bit. To be truthful, "spice" and "Tim Gunn" seem like oxymorons. But perhaps he needs a makeover. As long as I'm carping on this show, can't someone please tell Heidi how to stand on the runway? She stands like a linebacker. I guess she didn't get the information that a woman in high heels wearing a short skirt standing on an elevated platform should at least put one foot in front of the other in an attempt to be demure, instead of the legs-spread, linebacker type stance she usually adopts. I mean, with such beautiful shoes that she wears, she makes them look clunky -- every week!

I have to disagree about Tim Gunn. True, he rocks a professional wardrobe, but his suits always have an impeccable fit and cut.

I am often disappointed that "top American designer" Michael Kors always wears the same uniform--blazer, white T, and jeans, because it's neither professional in the classic sense or a representation of his profession, fashion. Designers usually wear their own lines, and Michael Kors does his brand no favors by dressing in such a boring way. (I'm also often appalled by the way the designers style themselves. Some are just plain schlubs, which doesn't inspire confidence in their styling skills.)

I agree, I love Tim Gunn, and he is very thoughtful in his critiques. Were he to dress any other way it would seem really odd - do you recall him donning flip-flops for the beach challenge? that was really out of character for him. I don't find him boring in the least, and some of his mild-mannered critiques are the most amusing.

As for the missing judges, they have evidently been in Europe for some reason. Michael will be back next week.

I like Gordana, her pieces are tasteful and well made, if lacking in creativity. I do not like Nicholas, I don't think I've yet seen a garment of his that made be go - wow! - I rather thought Epperson should have won.

Good thing these shows are taped so far in advance (next season is already in the can) or else Bryant Park would have been loathed to see these desingers coming. Is Logan so cute that no one has noticed he has neither personality nor imagination? Without Nicolas who will do all the talking? Could it be that Models of the Runway is more interesting than Project Runway this year?

Yeah, I am usually annoyed by the "worst season ever" debate, but this season of Project Runway, which was taped while Bravo and Lifetime were fighting in court about the show's future, is pretty dreadful. They seem tired and uninspired and sort of pedestrian.

Oh, yes, and dull.

I never liked Nicolas either, he cared more about saying catty things and critiquing other designers than producing anything good. I don't think he deserved to win the costume challenge.

I liked Shirin a lot, I'm sorry that she's no longer around. The girl had mad sewing skills.

Gordana is talented but I'd like to see a little more color and pizzazz. Where is Uli??
