In my opinion he crossed the line. Now, whether he was a serious threat or not, who can say? But that is not the point. He made what could very easily have been, and were, intrepreted as threats to Obama. Bottom line is...that is against the law. Whether you like Obama or not, which I do not, is irrelevant.

If he had been allowed to go unchecked, and then really did make an attempt to carry out his threat, and was perhaps successful, would everybody be saying....yeah, he said that but I didn't think he meant it? Just his saying the threat is illegal and should be addressed.

You have to be kidding. I have made no projections of fact on this matter at all. I just wonder why in the world you would contact the secret service for something he wrote. Sounds a bit strange to me. I think you need to chill out but then...maybe the guy is a whacko ready to go postal, who the hell knows? As for calling for the murder of Presidents, that is out of line but we just had a sitting Senator say AIG executives should commit suicide. Not that big a deal to me.
