you were assuming (accurately) that Honest Ellen's solidarity with the Toad is pretextual and insincere (what else is new?). They don't do "real" or "genuine". In point of fact, the ICPers loathe each other, and consider the others a drag on their star. Sure, for malignant narcissists all have fallen short of the "Glory Of Me", but it's especially a loathe-hate relationship with default pals and allies of necessity, because they find it demeaning to be connected with unworthies. Still, their "alliances" persist and the pole-greasing and gladhanding continue (with more friction than ever, though) because nothing, and I mean nothing, moves them, animates them, like their implacable hatred moves them, as directed at those who've shone the powerful public flashlight at them as they scuttle under the wainscoting, or those who've sprayed disinfectant in the communal areas where they've become accustomed to defecate and batten without challenge. In short, common cause with fellow ICPers as against those who threaten their Way of Life. Common cause takes amusing shapes, as necessity is always the mother of invented, hypocritical camaraderie---now the Toad's even joining LAM in rappin' familiarly with LilMacG as if they all speak the same gibberish, because she reliable repliers are at a premium all of a sudden! Soon Honest Ellen will start calling Obama porch-monkey with Jack Oaf, just as she remained agnostic on LAM's revelation that Obama had killed his grandmother either deliberately for a campaign boost or recklessly by throwing her under the bus. So "fawning", no, not even as sincere sychophants---these ICP folks would sell each other out for a buck fifty and an blue checkmark.....
Look, if Schmutzie's your brother or brother in law, I expect to be your cousin twice removed (assuming
