Showing your ignorance again Jack? Those rockets are home made. Even the Israelis haven't tried to pull that one, yet!

Nope...they are brought in from Iran, through the tunnels from Egypt into Gaza.

How about the millions we pump into Hmas , et al?? Think THAT should be increased??

That has been given to them to setup their government and improve their lot. They buy arms with it.

JD you believe that the Iranians can build a nuke.
by Boltlady
Don't you think they could build something better than the very primitive rockets that get fired into Israel? You're quick to say that Iran is supporting Hamas but I think that if that was true they'd give them something a lot more powerful.

That's just another flimsy excuse to attack Iran.
You ARE FULL OF SHIT AS USUAL JIMMYC....

Since the formation of a Hamas-led Palestinian Authority government in March 2006, the U.S. Administration has suspended its foreign assistance program in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. U.S. policy makers have stated that foreign aid cannot resume until Hamas, aU.S. StateDepartment-designatedForeign Terrorist Organization (FTO), renounces, among other things, its commitment to the destruction of the state of Israel and the use of terrorist violence. Hamas has not complied with these demands. In the meantime, media reports suggest that the humanitarian situation for many Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza Strip is worsening. The Quartet (the United States, Russia, European Union, and United Nations), in conjunction with the World Bank, has attempted to forge a temporary solution that will avoid working with the Hamas-led government while providing some relief to the Palestinians. Nevertheless, some details of such an arrangement remain undetermined. The Palestinians are the largest per capita recipients offoreign aid worldwide and, with a shattered economy, are mostlydependent on external support to meet basic needs. This report will be updated as events warrant. For more information, see CRS Issue Brief IB91137, The Middle East Peace Talks, by Carol Migdalovitz.

Wahbooz:
Just a little side note, cat, about the Hollywood thing. Are you aware that everyone of Jewish extraction wound up in Hollywood, starting in 1933 when Hitler took control of the German government? They pretty much ran Hollywood, believe it or not.

That is absolutely correct,Wahbooz. many Germans of Jewish descent sought and were granted exile here in the film community during Hilter's rise and their realization that their lives were in danger.

They have contributed much and taken charge of many production companies and have created many great and brilliant films. Film Noir itself was created by a brilliant Jewish film maker, Fritz Lang.. And it's genesis had it's roots in the very dark places that came from the creative minds of someone who had seen far too much of man's ingerant inhumanity to man.

Marlene Deitrich a German actress had an underground railroad type of operation that helped to funnel out many German jews who were creative artists who sought sanctuary in America.

You ignore the fact that in 1987 Prime Minster Menachem Begin tried to convince Egyptian President Anwar Sadat to take control of Gaza--fruitlessly. They didn't want to deal with the terrorist either.

you are so ill, cat..so very very very ill. Do you have no concept of personal rights and boundaries of the rights of others to post to and what they please, when they please? You must be the most intrusiove stalking obsessive of any poster I have ever seen. And I have the seen some real doozies.

Did your dad molest you or something and cross your personal boundaries? What happened to you that made you so unable to mind your own busines and stay out of the business of others?

Something must have happened to make you so ill.Besides that massive head blow to your cranium, obviously.

Because your damage goes well beyond just brain injury.

it veers well into the sick ,obsessive and abusive arena.

sigh.

Re: tsk tsk. does loree know?

here's a clue for you, dum dum, cat.......Loree and I are do not have to agree on every single detail to be friendly and civil and decent to one another.

That's the meaning of respect for those you care for in real life or on The fray.

This, apparently is what you have absolutely zero conception of.

If she has her views and I have mine,... as a friend of mine and out of respect for her turf here, at KSF, I would never come on here screeching my views in her face, as you seem to think you must do no matter what.

Friends respect their friends boundaries and treat each other with decency ,respect and civility.

They don't need to agree on every issue to be friends.

On that note: Go F yourself!, cat!. That's one thing you do know how to do well.

Last update - 00:54 17/02/2009 West Bank settlement gets green light for major expansion By Nadav Shragai, Haaretz Correspondent Tags: settlements, Israel News
Some 1,700 dunams of land in the northern part of Efrat were declared state land last week, paving the way for the West Bank settlement to start the process of seeking government approval to build there.

The Civil Administration issued the declaration after rejecting eight appeals by Palestinians against the move. A ninth appeal was accepted, and the land covered by this appeal was consequently removed from Efrat's jurisdiction.

However, construction is still a long way off. First, the Civil Administration must formally allocate the land to the Housing Ministry, which, under new rules adopted by Ehud Olmert's government, cannot be done without approval from both the prime minister and defense minister.
Advertisement Then the Housing Ministry must give Efrat's local council a permit to start the usually long planning process, which involves securing permits from various agencies. Only then can the work of building some 2,500 housing units in the Givat Ha'eytam neighborhood begin.

Since the outcome of the elections makes it likely that the next government will lean more to the right than the current one, Efrat plans to wait until the new government takes office before submitting its request.

Efrat, with around 9,000 residents, is the largest settlement in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, and Givat Ha'eytam is the last unbuilt hill of the seven within the town's jurisdiction. Despite being the hill nearest Jerusalem, Ha'eytam lies outside the planned route of the separation fence, which has yet to be built in this area.

Gush Etzion is one of the settlement blocs that all Israeli governments have said they want to retain under any final-status agreement with the Palestinians.
