First let me say the illegal immigration is a MAJOR issue and one the government needs to deal with. Note that the GOP did nothing when they had the power to stop illegal immigration, the last amnesty was granted by a GOP President and that more illegal immigrants entered the USA under GWB than any other President.

The main problem is that GOP business owners want cheap labor they can use and underpay. So I'm for major fines on employers, mandatory e-verify and a bounty system (give 50% of the fine to anyone that turns in an employer).
