You're eating the wrong stuff
by muskrat
I'd consider Arby's potato cakes and Jamocha shake pretty "killer" as those things go. Also, if you're eating Arby's "roast beef" sandwiches with cheese, no wonder you're put off -- Horsey Sauce (horseradish, natch, plus something like mayonnaise) is the way to go.

Occurred to me too - he might have liked it much better if it wasn't a cheese melt but just a regular Arby's w Horsey sauce. Yumm!!

Problem is, you don't know what the hell you are getting there without questioning the junior over the counter, as far as, what's similar to the old Arby's I used to get when I was young? You have to decide which size you want, and I feel like the size I like (I think it's the middle, I go rarely so keep forgetting) is too expensive.....

Potato cakes, yeah!

damn, I just ate and this thread is making me "hungry!"

Absolutely, I've always loved Arby's, but I don't go there for a variety of choices. I go there for two plain Arby's sandwiches, heavy on the horsey sauce, and a Jamocha shake. No fries.

Speaking of shakes, BK's milkshakes are their big moneymaker? I've never had one. Guess I'll have to go hit BK tomorrow.

I do have to agree with everyone that the cheese goo just reminds me of low-grade velveeta, and I avoid it at all cost.

Yeah, I didn't even know BK had milkshakes. Sadly, I couldn't think of something other than their burgers that they're known for. McD's has fries, Wendy's has the Frosty, I'd say Arby's has the Jamocha shake and the apple turnover.
