So a woman can hold a handgun...

...and stop a mini-Jihad from continuing with it. So we're supposed to conclude that (take your pick):

a.) Once again, a gun control law (or, in this case, a military regulation) actually contributed to violence.

b.) Supporters of the Jihad are a threat, and should be tolerated by the military no more than Klansmen are, or Nazis were in WW II.

c.) We should draft women for combat, because this proves that they can take it..

I disagree with c.), because combat is more than just holding a handgun. I agree with a.) and b.), even though these points are politically incorrect (and therefore ignored by the media).

nice. you manufacture weak minded straw, then argue your own straw. pathetic. quite predictable though.

as for your stupidity, drafting woman because they can take it...your antiquated neanderthal views went out in the 20th century having long ago been debunked as the delusional tripe it is. hense why you're posting this stupidity online, as usual.

women, like homosexuals, are American's, and have every right to defend their country any more then red neck dumb fuckers who couldn't get a job in the real world, and was bailed out by the military.

With regards to 'b' of course supporters of Jihad should be removed and in fact put to death but are you saying that all Muslims are defacto supporters of Jihad or only those that openly claim support for Jihad (which it appears this guy did do)?

With regards to 'c' shouldn't anyone be allowed in combat IF they meet the physical requirements?

Shouldn't there be physical requirements and those that meet these are allowed combat duty?

Man you get this angry this early in the day? Wow all that hate must eat you up.

when an intellecual coward can not answer a simple question because the answer exposes their stupidity for what it is, they fall back on regurgitating grade school deflection, the profound morons can not even manage a college level deflection, not that wouldn't get them mocked as well, but what pitiful intellectual cowardess

Tell us how you really feel, CMD.

Did you know that the average Soldier in the United States Army is better educated than the average American citizen? Too many people hold to the stereotype you just put forth. I guess it makes you feel better about yourself to belittle others.

you have a stat for that?
by jazzguitarman

Do you have any data with regards to education levels. Of course those that have been in the army for, say, mover 6 years, are likely to be better educated for many reasons, one being because they are older.

I would like to see a comparision by age since the age mix between soldiers and the average American Citizen I assume is a lot different.

Also, one would have to look at the reserves (who I assume are more educated) differently than the non reserves in any comparison.

The report was mentioned in an older issue of the Army Times. I'll poke around for it.
