Jesus Regretful, You Threatened Your Own Dad with Stalking?

Society gave you way too much power way too soon.

Many is the innocent man who has endured these kind of threats from their own children. Many is the male teacher who has been demeaned and had their careers scarred by the mere suggestion of stalking or sexual predation.

I'd want nothing to do with you either. You also screwed with the lives of his new wife and your step-sibling.

End the cycle now. Just leave the poor guy alone.

LW's letter reminds me of a play I read last semester, called The Children's Hour. It's about 3 female school teachers at the turn of the 20th century whose lives are turned upside-down because of a lie a child tells. Basically, the little girl has always been a liar and does so to get out of constantly being in trouble. When one of the women punish her for something, the girl tells her grandmother that 2 of her teachers are having a lesbian affair. All 3 teachers are stripped of their jobs, and one of them commits suicide in the end.

Algaechild86 - Saw the movie version; very scary and thought provoking at the same time.

Isn't that a version of Arthur Miller's "the Crucible"?

No, the play, "The Children's Hour" was written by Lillian Hellman. We give sometimes children too much credibility.
