I had a whole response written, but I deleted it. I don't think there is anything I could say to change your mind, because you sound incredibly ignorant to military life. I'll just say this...I think women are perfectly capable of being fighters. I do not necessarily think that integrating women into existing infantry units would be the best way to do things. There are already enough problems between men and women with regards to sexual conduct as is. That is not to say that I have any issue with male and female soldiers having relationships, but in a war zone, there are few means of escape to a personal life. Things such as jealousy and favoritism could easily become a big issue. Things are stressful enough without that. I do think that if an all female infantry unit was formed, they would have little difficulty filling their numbers with volunteers, possessing both the physical aptitude and the will to fight..though not quite as many as you (the writer) might think. Finally, I'll say this...what ANY of this has to do with a female civilian cop doing her job is beyond me. She is a brave person. So are our soldiers. The professions are too different to draw a strong comparison, and I think your argument is very poor. I say this as an infantry man myself. You chose a very poor way to make your point.
