I couldn't help it--I had to laugh, even though familiar with this photo. Blame it on the good setup line; I was expecting something of substance and got blindsided.

One thing though: this appears to contradict the characterization of Merkel's governing style in my post as "low-key, no-nonsense." Oh, well. This wouldn't be the first time I've been shown wrong and, no doubt, it won't be the last.

One more thing: wasn't there another German political candidate or Merkel supporter who used the cleavage angle for traction in some kind of political ad? I vaguely remember a news article, I think from within the last year. If I can find it, I'll leave a link here.
