I'm really disappointed that the writer of this piece is so certain that the EU President won't be a woman. There are two excellent candidates in Ursula Plassnik from Austria and Dora Bakoyannis from Greece. Plassnik, in particular, is awesome and comes from a similar ideological standpoint as Merkel.
