the last time we had a flu vaccine shortage
by baltimore aureole

it was attributed to the venality and incompetenance of bush . . .

now its described as "predicatable" and "mostly unavoidable"

i would say that hypocrisy like this (holding bush and obama to widely different standards) is "predictable" . . .

To say that Bush and Obama are being held to widely different standards on the flu vaccine shortage issue makes sense if (1) the circumstances are similar and (2) the responses those engaging in "hypocrisy" are different. For the sake of argument let's concede (2).

Are you maintaining the only significant difference between the 2004 and the 2009 flu seasons is which party/candidate is in office?
