Mountain Driving
by pawsinsd
My husband's a techie and has talked for years about automated cars. Mountain driving is different, however. This will be our first winter in Utah and he's looking for the right car (I have it and he takes it on snowy days). The curves at the bottom of the mountains going into the valley are intense and require that the driver be entirely focused on the task at hand, getting to his/her destination alive and not harming anyone else on the road. Also, beware of moose, elk and deer crossing I-80. I wouldn't trust a computer to do that. That the Lexus helps with potential accidental lane changes means nothing in a state that regularly erases and moves those lane lines so they're practically invisible at times.
