Don't use battery-operated devices when you don't have to. For ex., wireless keyboards and mice or trackballs might seem cool, but some of them go through batteries like there's no tomorrow. Well, okay, you can use rechargable ones, but the batteries always seem to crap out at the most inconvenient time. If you don't like looking at cables, a few strategically-drilled holes can do wonders for keeping them out of sight.

Great advice! Not using batteries certainly make them going dead a non-issue! I wish I could have thought of that one on my own...
