Shocked! I'm shocked to learn Wali Karzai is involved in the nacro trade. Some may recall back in 2005, a computer disc was sold-off in an Afstan market with secret U.S. military information on it stating Wali was receiving money from drug lords as a bribe to facilitate their activities (it's never been refuted that I'm aware of). There is nothing new here, except someone now is trying to put pressure on the older brother to kick the younger brother out of the nest by leaking his connection to the CIA.

Again, I'm simply astounded to learn an American government Agency would use gangsters, and drug lords to further its activities by putting politico-military considerations beyond any counterdrug matters. It hasn't been uncommon to have a CIA representative present during certain DEA interrogations in the past - Edward Landsdale what are they thinking? : }

We are asking Karzai and the Afgan government to clean their act up, Perhaps we might want to clean our own act up as well, before we task General McChrystal to carry-out population-centric COIN, a proposition that will put our troops at even greater risk during its implementation.
