"Embarrassment to Her Gender"? Really?
by Silva

Prudence,

Why is she being "an embarrassment to her gender"? Does she represent all the women in the world?

If it were a man constantly scratching his privates, and that happens occasionally in the work place, would he be an "embarrassment to his gender"? Does anybody ever say that a man's bad habit? Or is it only women who have to behave in a certain way in order to not give the rest of us a bad name? Misogynist much?

Yes, he would be an embarrassment to his gender, and yes people do say that it's a bad habit of men. Men in general are indeed chastised for it by women.
