"old Honda"
by fegundez
I have been working on these bikes for almost 20 nyears. As for soeed they owned Daytona for a long time the CB series is still in production! I ride a Cb 750 1978 every day and so long as you keep the points adjusted properly it will start every time you kick it! That is the one thing I do advise my customers to do is replace the points with a universal electronic ignition it will run more reliably and take a little less time for tuning. The seating set-up is optimal for long rides and you can even have a conversation with your passenger. I find that the newer bikes that have the pedestal "seat" for the passenger are actually dangerous for the new rider, and new passenger as well. They are fine if your passenger is 90 pounds or less and has a 4 inch wide butt but real people looking for a fun reliable comfortable ride these are the best bikes in the world. As for Harlys I smoke them regularly and find myself pulling over regularly to assist the broken down. I have yet to come across one of these vintage stranded, but if I do I will offer to buy it on the spot!
