There are plenty..
by mindflavor
Firstly, why are you purchasing these diapers? You should avoid self-inflcited punishment and save our landfills and sewage systems from the horrors that huggies and pampers represent. Perhaps you want to consider the plethora of alternative diapers out there available to even the most casual of parents. 7th generation diapers, for example, are plain, do not contain chlorine or plastic and made of recycled and recyclable material. Even better, G diapers are certified by MBDC and are about as green and free of advertising as you could hope for.
I can appreciate your annoyance at the advertising omnipresent in todays world but surely you can find a better alternative for that argument?
I wanted to use G-diapers

I really did. Thye seemed a responsible compromise between cloth and disposable. But the price was just too high. I haven't priced 7th generation diapers, but I have priced their other products, and honestly, I can;t afford it. I think a lot of parents tend to go for the cheapest option.

Yes, I know cloth is the absolute cheapest, but for us, for many reasons, that wasn't a viable option.

Pampers seem to be the best bet for diapers. They are middle of the road as far as price goes, but they perform quite well with very few leaks. I gag at the thought of cloth diapers, I have a relative who used them and we watched her kids occasionally. I would never subject my kids to that. As far as landfills go, just try to potty train your kids as early as possible. Or if you live out in the country just burn them. Splash some gasoline on them and they burn like napalm. Just don't stick around to smell them. I do not love the smell of napalm diapers in the morning.

Plain old store brand diapers work perfectly fine and have no design on the butt. Plus, they're cheaper.

We tried Target's own brand and weren't happy with them. The relative who cares for our daughter while we are at work really found them very difficult to use also.
