I'm sorry, maybe it was you after all. I guess I don't

recall for sure. I know Honest Ellen brought up Queeg in my old "Fraycentric Spam" mega-thread (how could I know then how existential and intensely personal was her "rhetorical" question to me, "Who made YOU the hall monitor??").
Because she misused the reference in a way which demonstrated not only her estrangement from classic books but from rudimentary thematic comprehension of themes in films based upon classic books, we riffed from there, but not to the point of casting the Toad as Keefer. It came up again shortly thereafter--this spring?---with Iso and you and Schmutzie on another megathread in or about one of LAM's toxic meltdowns, where the formal casting occurred, precisely because the Toad, like Keefer, had instigated LAM, then hung her out to dry. Okay, I'm remembering now. It was you, M.R.! Several of us were on it right away, so I morphed it. I wanted to take credit myself.
Meanwhile Honest Ellen was figuring out that even though her "friends" had grievously betrayed her, especially LAM, she, just like these same fair-weather friends, formed her identity and sense of self-worth by reference to despised enemies and hated rivals, not trusted friends and respected colleagues. Hence, the transitional groundwork was laid once again for today's mutual fulminations.
