Queeg breaks out the worry beads and frets, "Oh, him! Yes, like all of the officers, he was against me from the start." Lieutenant MeridianToo comes to mind, among others.....

Meanwhile Honest Ellen was figuring out that even though her "friends" had grievously betrayed her, especially LAM, she, just like these same fair-weather friends, formed her identity and sense of self-worth by reference to despised enemies and hated rivals, not trusted friends and respected colleagues.
