Re: can't see it, McCong has nothing to lose, everything to
by partizan

mookex:
.....BHO stands to gain zero, more than silly to offer the enemy shelter in ANY storm @ ANY point in time IMNSFHO;)

Not if a stink bomb of a question comes from the audience. McCain is more vulnerable on the issues. His economic plan stinks so does his health care plan and his energy policy. Either he make himself look to liberal for the base or he makes himself seem out of touch with the current situation. The only card he has in the deck is the occupation. The numbers for that are on a down trend. Cost and casualties are rising. Progress is stalled.

sadly
by mookex

......I can't agree, while BHO & McCong are peripherally engaged "on the issues" the GOP slime machine will be playing "gawd damn America" with alternating doses of "bitter" smalltown cracker screed 24/7

......McCong can play it aloof and electable while taking advantage of an unexpected chance to prove himself vital enough to lead

......these encounters can only offer McCong shelter and a staging area IMO

HRC's race-baiting "a good thing" ?
by alameda929

I don't think so, but hey ... you may think differently.

Actually it sounds like all the other libs love the idea
by Smiley1979

Seriously, how are you not seeing the inevitable result of the "hope and change" candidate side by side with the "fear and despair" candidate? Obama's supporters love him, mccain's supporters mildly dislike him at best.

You're grasping at straws here buddy.

It's never occurred ot me that
by NikDanger

Obama has anything to be "rehabilitated" about.

McCain on the campaign trail:

<link>

lol!!!....."libs love the idea"
by mookex

...yeah, that "explains' why it's a "good idea' for BHO to provide a stage for Juan McCong to rehabilitate himself on a regular basis until election day!

you're pissing up a rope looking for "logic' in this matter......(hint: there is no logic in this matter;)

so what exactly does BHO stand to gain
by mookex

......and what does BHO stand to LOSE by offering to cooperate with Juan McCongs suggestion of regular face to face "town meetings' until election day?

do you have ANYTHING @ all to offer in response to this question?:)

translation:
by mookex

....geez mook, BHO & dems stand to gain NOTHING by BHO participating in Juan McCongs dawg & pony show on a regular basis until election day, do you mind if I whine about HRC instead of TRYING to answer for BHOs obvious Pollyana attitude towrds beating the republicans???

(whew!).............YIPPEE!

alamaniac: more than happy to whine about HRC but figures mook should know that answering tuff questions about BHO decisions and abilty is TABOO among fraybamas....................DAMN IT!:)

Yeah. McCain will look like a doddering
by NikDanger
old jerk and Obama will look intelligent, charismatic and adult.
P.S. What does McShame
by NikDanger

stand to gain from this arrangement, that's what I can't figure.

Betcha anything, if Obama does accept the idea, McCain will back out.

BHO has to let McCong in close
by mookex

....on a regular basis until election day to accomplish the "goal" of making McCong look like an old geezer?

Hmmm...lame attempt to reinforce the obvious (while risking damage) is a "gain"?

......"interesting" definition of a "gain" for dems, eh?

....these meetings/encounters IF they are finally agreed upon (obviously I hope NOT;) and they occur on a regular basis until election day can only mean more trouble for an already troubled BHO campaign IMNSFHO

......since there is no obvious gain avialable if BHO participates it is naive and foolhardy for BHO to give McCong ANY shelter from the storm.....period;)

nothing to lose=everything to gain
by mookex

......it is WAY more than foolish to offer McCong ANY opportunity to warm up his image

(this sorta stuff is EASY to figure if one doesn't get in the habit of cutting slack for a weak but popular candidate;)

You're reshaping what I said.
by NikDanger

You have a thing against Obama, I can't help that.

The man seems to know what he's doing so let's leave it to him.

I disagree that BHO "knows what he's doing"
by mookex

....I can only HOPE that BHO tentative agreement is bullshit & he won't go thru with it....

(psssssst!).....you came up with NOTHING substantive that BHO stands to "gain" from such encounters dood

zero. zip, nada.......wanna try again or is genuine constructive critisism of the presumed dem nominee "taboo" among "liberal" fraysters theze daze?

Gee Al, you're right, I have nothing.
