Re: Mom, read your links...
by MWG

They support what I say, not what you are claiming.

Read your own links....

Re: Mom, read your links...

If you think those links support you, you're an illiterate idiot.

It was a lie from the git-go. Planned during the Clinton administration, carried out by the idiot.

Re: Read your links...

Read them...

Not ONE that you posted supports your claim that Tenet told Bush Iraq had no WMD.

The Salon article comes closest but it's a distortion that worded such to make the careless reader think Tenet told Bush Iraq had no WMD.

If the article is 100% true, all it says is that there was a source that claimed Iraq had no WMD and even that source claimed Iraq was one year (or two I don't remember) from an atomic bomb when Iraq had fissionable material. That's hardly a "let's leave Iraq alone" kind of claim...

Re: Mom, read your links...

Not according to your links...

They say Tenet believed Iraq had WMD and that's what he told Bush.

Re: Read your links...

Yeah, there was a source named "curveball." The Germans told Tenet, WHO TOLD BUSH, that Curveball was a loon and a liar. Bush made his choice...and went with curveball.

Here's another one on the source stating he confirmed Iraq had Chemical weapons...

for what?...for showing that you dont accept any info that discredits your circle of anger? are you saying, you're only purpose was to get a rise out of the dems, or perhaps to lecture them on thier behavior?

Democrats are doing the same against each other that they did with Bush. Democrats are crying because of the same tactics they've used against Bush for years are now being used on each other.

you honestly believe only dems play dirty? you believe that Bush's hands or the republican party are clean? dont you think that to start out with hating dems and to work backwards from there will only cloud your objectivity?

CIA and other intelligence agencies told Bush Iraq had WMD. He believed them and acted accordingly.

some did, some did not. do you know the names of the ones he did listen to and the names of the ones he didnt. do you know what positions they held and who had put them in those positions? do you know how many years of experience in ME intelligence and military the yay and nay sides had? once again your lack of diversity of input leads you to support a man of poor judgement, and that is about as nice as i can put it. why do you suppose he discounted the data the current inspectors in iraq were telling him. why could he not give them a few more months before making any sort of pre-emptive attack? why did he ignore international law against pre-emptive war? why did he make it a game of "where o where is the WMD' in his office, after it was shown that no WMD existed and thousands of innocent iraq's had died and were bombed out of their homes, utilities, hospitals and schools? why is he borrowing money from china to pay for this "crusade"? why is he pushing off that note onto our children and grandchildren? why does he make our troops do 3,4, 5 rotations? why were our troops not fully equipped for occupational duty? why are our troops being used as police in an occupation in the first place?

all for the same reason: poor judgement, at best. (and again i'm being nice here)

the whole nation has to deal with it. but i for one, cannot accept it.

MWG's opinions have not changed since day one. He's too stupid to process any new information that hasn't been fed to him directly by talk radio.

He and his opinions are worth about the same...nada.

My my, in addition to the material contribution to the dialog, what valuable introspection and thoughtful consideration that post must have taken...

Have a nice day.

I'm at work and pretty damn busy. But, since MWG has spouted the same lack of intelligence for years, it doesn't take a lot of "introspection and thoughtful consideration" to peg him for what he is.
well, i wouldnt say it that
by rick014

but arrogance and blind allegience to his opinons, in spite of contrary opinion, facts and documentation, does him in every time. arrogance and being right is hard to take, arrogance and being wrong is insufferable to me.

but a sounding board of ALL voices, is what makes our nation a functioning democracy(ok BG...i know it's a federalism :) )

but this type of democracy will only survive if we ALL listen to different opinons, and then simply do our homework via research, then accepting our dissapointments as well as savoring the truth, looking beyond partisan affiliations. it's not important to strive to change anyone's opinon, but to show both sides of the debate and let people decide for themselves. anyone can keep their opinon, but it's hard for me to let dissinformation go unchallanged.

this is what attracts me to Obama. he wants us ALL to get engaged in the dialog,to participate in the "process", to build from the bottom up, instead of accepting what is passed down to us, as gospel, simply because we agree with the message.
