Woolley..it's just a thought, but I am guessing she might have gotten the idea Obama was in it for the money due to his Rezco Sweetheart Mortgage Deal.,and also ,perhaps his most very recent slickster and actually quite, despicable move of opting out of public campaign financing.
Again, as I posted last week...no presidential candidate has ever opted out of campaign financing since Watergate.
~Why it is bad that Obama opted out of this:Public Financing was started after Watergate as a way to ensure that no candidate would do what Nixon did with his C.R.E.E.P org.(you should Google that and read up on what it was about)and use slush funds and enormous sums for campaigns without being bound by some limits on the amounts they receive. And, also by agreeing to the public funds they are then bound by signatory to abide by the rules of the public trust of this allocation of funds, not to engage in any 4th amendment privacy rights violations and or slanderous activities, against their opposition contenders.~
By opting out of campaign financing, Obama, 1.) Broke his word on his pledge not to opt out and 2.): is now under no public financing contractual rules given to those who accept public campaign financing by or any monetary limitations whatsoever. (of course every citizen and candidate has to obey the law. But, by Obama opting out of accepting public financing he will have no federal oversight as it relates to those candidates who accept public financing, as he has chosen not to engage in this Federally overseen public protection.)
As I said last week this is so shameless there just is no defending it.And I noted last week even the most liberal media couldn't and likely wouldn't defend that move by Obama.
And I noticed ,even Slate writer, John Dickerson ,who has thus far, been pro Obama, even criticised him and wrote a article last week , on this very issue, when Obama announced he was opting out of it and broke his former pledge not to do so.
So, yeah, I would agree with jegal..money is clearly a huge motivating factor in Mr. Obama's life.
And 'dirty money', at that..if the Rezco deal is any indicator.and it certainly is.
Bad as that was, the opting out of public financing is a real bad omen, as well, from Mr. Obama
