True enough, Issywise. The one sweet thing I am happy for however is from now on Hillary will be seen as being darn near heroic, for her incredible grace under fire and loyalty to the democratic party even in spite of her not getting the nomination. Her efforts to now help Obama show great strength and loyalty
I understand her loyalty to the party as her entire life has been dedicated to the agenda and platform of the Dem party. She has worked so hard, for so many years, for the democratic party. She gets her funding from them and she is a dem senator in this party. So, that loyalty is understandable.
For some of her supporters,... we don't have our own livelihoods tied up, financially, within the DNC. So, as individuals we are free to choose who to vote for as we like.
If Hillary is every going to have any chance of running for President in the future. Her best chance would be if McCain wins this one and then hopefully she can run next time.
That's just a fact.
Plus , for me personally, I think we need to drill for Oil here at home, the sooner the better..and McCain wants to do so...whereas Obama does not.
So, I guess I can live with 4 years of McCain.
Afterall, he really isn't not actually George Bush Jr. He is John McCain ...someone who actually saw action in war, unlike Bush merely saw AWOL written on his military record.
I think we could have a great resurgence in this country of get working and get busy to get the job done sort of attitude, if we start drilling, put people to work give them hope we can get off of Saudi Oil...and take control of our own destinies again by opening up new drilling industries and thus boosting the various state economies, as we go.
We need to get the country out of it's collective sense of hopelessness and victimhood, where we are just cow towing to the Saudis.
By getting busy drilling and buiilding new Nuclear plants, as McCain says.,.'we could make a good start on that road'.
McCain has ideas.
Obama just has a nice suit and tie, fancy words and a bunch of synchophants following him all over fainting at his rallies as if they were at some sort of Old Southern type of phony Reivival Meeting, circa 1933.
I prefer a genuine war hero with experiance to a empty suit and a bunch of pretty rhetoric.
