"What iceberg? Our best intelligence tells us there was no iceberg, so y'all just sit back and enjoy the rest of the journey. Nuthin' to worry about here!"

Three people are stranded on debris after the Titanic disaster; a Republican, a Democrat, a Libertarian.

The Democrat says "We must manage the sea, engineer the currents and winds, row where we want to go.

The Republican says "We must trust in God's plan, let the wind and current waft us, help by invading the currents."

The Libertarian stands up, brandishes a .45, empties it into sky and sea, says "Less current is better current."

I actually thought the Titanic comments were pretty witty.

However, you are right. One of the things I greatly admire about Ecuadorian president Rafeal Correa is his ability to negotiate political mindfields which are not related to crises and always, ALWAYS come out smiling. (BTW, despite what the American media says, Correa is no Chavez-- he is more similar to Lula da Silva.)

McCain "Quick, get out the Martini glasses"

Obama "Sorry Michele, this lifeboat only has room for me and the boys, you, the girls and grandma are going to have to flag down the next one"

HIllary "Is it 3 am already?"

Al Gore: It's wrong, just wrong, that this vessel struck the iceburg, thereby chipping away forever some of its majesty. I invented iceburgs, and now they're threatened by global warming. Damn, it sucks that someone else already made a movie about this.
