The play is very beautiful and it was a wonderful night.

So far the reviews have been respectful, good to ok, but not, so far, the raves that were expected by one and all ( not just 'cos I am mummy ) Still waiting for the two biggys that will put bums on seats, they will be out early next week. and there are the Sundays too maybe,. T... doesn't want to talk about it so I am not sure which other papers went than the ones I already knew of, they did send all their best critics though, all of them.

What lifts Langridge's play above the run-of-the-mill dirty realism of contemporary new writing are the great monologues which give voice to the thoughts of the characters, fountains of verbal glitter which conjure up a romantic world of stomping horses, story belts, ancient charms and the freedom of the road.

From the play ........' ......... fucking gypyying piking dirty tax avoiding fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking FUCK .....'

Oh, and there is no doubt in my mind, that she is my daughter either :)

Though thinking of her trapsing through muddy fields and wild horses at Appleby Fair stiil makes me smile ...... she always looks perfect and clean, unlike me, who really does look like a wild woman much of the time :)
