Iso---I'm not sure how you could have know that, as I've never discussed it here, for fear of what the wrong sorts might do with the information. For a variety of reasons too complicated to adequately outline in this venue, I became one of the earliest exponents of the Lambada craze when it hit my small town in the late eighties, in conjunction with two aptly-named Lambada films, Lambada and The Forbidden Dance. Suffice it to say that I was discovered in one of the Sunday school rooms at church giving demonstrations of the famed Latin dance to a mixed-gender group of teens, including Phyllis, the charming daughter of our strictest deacon. After they finished with me, I could not get up or sit down for two weeks, and I've never been able to Lambada since, even if I wanted to. Ah, sweet Phyllis, and Laronda and Duane, I have never forgotten our forbidden dance....
