I do remember many surprise fights between me and a given champion of "The Crowd". These were "coupe counters" as I was a pretty safe adversary, merciful in victory and slow to hold a grudge, and it was usually lunch or after school on the grounds. When they got tired of that they came at me by the dozens. I tended to give as bad as I got either way. As I got older, we'd wander farther to more secluded places and people tried to hurt me seriously. Some succeeded, some got some of their own medicine. Then real life intervened and I didn't have time for all that, nor did my contemporaries except for the really tough types that liked to think of themselves as TV tough guys, which I had very little to do with. What, you still smarting over some childhood scorn you endured?
The way I see it, if the VRWCCC fails to materialize or gain sway with those who do take power, The Lord makes everything right in eternity. Many of those who had a hand in bruising me may even be there in eternity having converted from Pinko to Saint. And if the VRWCCC does gain power and I will never have a pang of conscience in loading up the masses whose pinko hea'ds will bleach in the desert before being mortared into a wall separating Mexico & US while their chipped and slurried bodies become the main ingredient in pristine alpine wildflower meadow fertilizer broadcast from firefighting tankers as soon as the last snows melt in the high country. Concentrating, dispatching, overseeing while they work to death stacking heads, I will do my 8 and sleep soundly in peace, satisfied that I am doing the best thing possible to improve the United States and repell the world from the last bastion of freedom and dignity left on the otherwise socialist earth.
Death to Pinkos.

Although I admire Adolph Hitler in many ways, and some of the military men of the German Armed Forces, please understand that I wholly disapproved of Hitler exterminating conservative Jews. His extermination of Pinkos was Okay with me, and I would burn pinkos of all races, ethnicities and nationalities as would any inspired leader withing to ever do lasting good for the people of his nation, but I would use the conservative Jews just like I would any other patriot and man of good sense to bring into being the superior environment for righteousness to dwell in. We must exterminate on the basis of pink (poor) character, only. This way we maintain the moral ascendency and retain the approval of God Who is above all. If I end up in Hell, it will simply be to bust in and retrieve some relatives and friends because God revealed another mystery and let His saints take people out by name based on how good they were to serve on our personal plantations, ranches, colony regions and worlds.
I curry the favor of God for Eternity. Therein lies my best hope to effect reality significantly. Save myself and pray and hope in the Lovingkindness and Merciful nature of The Lord. So, I obey. "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord" as much as I humanly can with the help of the Divine Spirit of Christ.
Oh God, Your Eager Instrument Awaits Anticipating His Promised Role in Destroying the Mighty Men of the Earth. "This is the glory of all His saints." - Psalm 149
Death to Pinkos!

It doesn't hurt when you knight the likes of Elton John, either. To raise him up to the level of the Earl of Marlborough or Lord Mountbatten, Sir Arthur Wellington, Sir Horation Nelson or even Francis Drake is blasphemy.

Um .... I didn't knight anybody Dd :-) It is Sir Elton btw, your 'Great' fellas were Lord's, were they not ?
Though I do have regrets about the 'Labour Party', illegally doing away with hereditary Peerages and Illegally messing about with the house of Lords but shan't bore you with it :-) Certianly not on Independence Day :-) xxxxxx

Just had another look at your list :-) People are knighted for all sorts of reasons, but they have all done something helpful for the realm. it can be business, sport, kindness, bravery all sorts -) the list is, now a days, made in Parliament but it is still in the Sovereign's name. Elton just as many others bought wealth and 'good feeling'/ renown to the 'crown' / land.
From your list, I think that only Drake was a Knight, the rest were Lords xxxxx Drake mmmmm his trial was terrible. I remember my Pa being very upset when reading it,by the terrible injustice ..... he lived a cloistered life did my Pa :-)

Nelson, perhaps Brittain's premier epitome of the Crown's Champion came up through the ranks to be knighted if memory serves, achieving each promotion through merit rather than favor or purchase. He would be more the ideal meriting the knighthood than these modern freeps.

No problem. My daughters old boyfriend knew MJ since he was a little kid. Nothing ever happened to him over there at all, nothing. Boyfriend testified at the hearing also. Boyfriend was also in the 10th row behind Jackson family during the service by family invitation. Nothing at all, zip.

The list of The Noble Lord, Viscount, Baron, Vice Admiral and so on and so on Nelson fills a small book-let. Dear old Elton is a mere Knight :-)
Every year many people are daubed by Her Majesty The Queen, Her Royal Highness Elizabeth 11, she is an Empress still too, I think, though it is never mentioned :)( not 100%, shall look it up ) how long has she been on the throne ? And all the Monarchs before her. How many knighted ones from over the centuaries are still remembered ? A tiny fraction. I am sure, well I know that there are moans and groans each year when the list is made public, and always have been. xxxxx Any way Dd we can't have another Nelson, we don't make ships any more :(

Your nation turned to shit when it embraced spiritism and let the queers run wild in your public schools. It is just that the vigor of your British Thin Red Line and the residual strength of the Victorians made it a hundred year process. By God any Empire that can raise up colonial troops that use only 1700 rounds to gun down 1570 of their own countrymen is a jewel of Empirical Efficiency. They certainly knew what to do with Hindus.
We'll try to rule the waves until you are ready, again. After all, only The American Navy has ever met the fleet head on and bested you consistently. "I have not yet begun to fight," kinda thing surprised you and shocked your sensitivities. You were used to Frenchmen surrendering and being exchanged like in civilized warfare once the Union Jack gained the decided advantage.
Avast!

What are you talking about Dd ?
If it is Your Revolution, If I read my history right, we didn't have much of an army there to fight, since the King saw fit not to send , the asked for, troupes.
And I am sorry if my country offends you, it offends me too quite often :-) The Victorians ....were of a different age my love, like it or not, we cannot go back xxxxxx

You had a fine Army, fresh from Victory after Victory since Agincourt, all comers. French, Dutch, Austrians, Spanish, Scotts, Irish... The American Army was just a Colonial Detachment of the British Army. You were good and the lessons learned in the American wilderness in upstate New York, the Cowpens, Bunker Hill, Yorktown were invaluable at Torres Verdes and the Peninsular Campaign where "That General of Sepoys" whipped everything the Grande Armee could throw at it save Napolean himself, and that had to wiat until Waterloo to happen where a British conglomerate Army much like the American Continentals took on The very experienced and fresh Grande Armee even using timely-arriving allies to pin down the coupe de grace. The Redcoat has always been an outstanding soldier, ranking in history with anything the Romans or Alexander or even the Spartans ever fielded. Witness the Charge of the Light Brigade and The Defense of Rourke's Drift.
Brittain's finest hour.
A little wisdom and we could revisit history. What ho?
