Re: Can A Few Bad Apples Ruin The Whol Barrel?
by Loree

You are more than welcome, LAM.

Something that I appreciate, are the replies from those interested in what is best for the country, for all of us, and lets not forget, good for the board.

Your posts, as do a lot of others, play right along that idea, so are much appreciated:-)

Thanks, Loree. I went through so many changes this year over this election, but eventually I too see that those who were for Obama made the right decsion for the times. And I also feel like MaryAnne and I began to soften on him when he made the mature choice and selected HRC for SOS.And Biden for VP too. After all Biden was my first choice for President way back when this election started.

So, I am very happy now about it.I can now see how Obama as an inspiring figure is very wise as well for the country.

KSF Fray has a very nice unique style about it. I like the way most of all the posters handle things in a very community based mature manner for the most part. It's really very nice.

I agree....and that phrase 'for the most part' says it all:-)

For there is very little in the world, in our country, and on this board as well, that is '100 percent':-)

But the truth is, that we learn to live with all of it, and let our own minds and hearts, be the rudder by which we steer our way through life. Sometimes that takes a lot of soul-searching, and again, that famous 'Obama' word, 'CHANGE', but I honestly think that perseverance, has just about as much to do with it, as anything else.

It's OK to change one's thoughts, and move in a different direction. Nothing wrong at all with that. It is those who can't who struggle the most:-)

I suppose one argument in favor of Clinton over Biden as Secretary of State is that message discipline is more important for the SoS position than for the VP. The SoS's main job is to carry the President's message around the world, and Hillary Clinton has done that in an unofficial capacity, in the past (as First Lady), and has pretty good self-discipline for staying on message (and has shown a great capacity for personal loyalty, in the past). Biden's got his strong points, but message discipline is certainly not one of them. So, with the touchiness of the Middle East issues ahead, maybe Obama figured Clinton would be a better choice to deliver his messages on a day to day basis, whereas Biden could be used in situations where discipline wasn't as big a priority as imagination and personal connections.

Even with your own words, I am more than ever convinced that Hillary is the better choice for SOS...you said it about she has 'already done that' as first lady. True. Therefore she has experience for that position. The Clintons are still very popular...I can think of any number of 'ex-politicians' who wish, truth be known, that they had just a fraction of the legacy and popularity that the Clintons continue to enjoy...almost effortlessly:-)

Life is a series of decisions and changing ones mind is part of that.

The questions I had about Obama's background in Chicago have not been answered yet,but as we all say,Politics is a rough sport.Obama seems to be on the right track, trying to work with Republicans,as well as pulling in the hard nosed far left Dems.

I am a middle of the road person and Obama is doing his best to pull the Country together.I would be a fool if I did not recognize that.

Everyone seems to think I was gungho for Hillary all the way. I was against was her treatment by the Press, especially MSNBC pundits. Also the DNC. I have not changed my mind on that, not for one minute.

Obama being smart enough to choose her for SOS made me see he was smarter than all the MSM and a lot of his followers, who did the same thing to her.

Now I get the KFS regular philsophy---"Truth" itself, "lifes rudder" sez poet Loree, is subject to "change" as needed!

Do mosta you KFS regulars have to pay escorts and companions in the meat world?

I was brought back by popular demand...can you believe that?

I won't be around much...just often enough to watch the white hats and the black ones.

Its hard to see how a person can be "brought back" if
by Mister Fatface

they never intented to leave in the first p;lace and never did leave at all except for a hour or two when you prolly couldnt take yer ego eyes off the board for a second to seewho was talking about you!!

May be the "popular demand" was the "pleeze Loree pleeze don't go your wonderful" stuff that poor cluck Denny got none of in his spring 08 "Goodbye Forever/Last KFS TopPost Ever".

I know already the "I wont be around much" is sending terrible shock waves around KFS as honest sincere regulars struggle to come to grips with you being here "less" after the horible trauma of you beinmg gone Forever for a day. Can that "less" change by gladhander "demand" too poet Loree??? Hope so!!!

truth and facts and honor is dependant on how nicely written up it is and how well connected a person is. Makes we wonder even more about if your a true fraud, cuz thats exactly how

1. Native Americans got screwed over and over by smoothtalking Anglo liars and theives

2. 'Nam footsoldiers got screwed over and over by smoothtalking generals and highpowered civvy pigs like MacNamara.

Let youre concience be your guide there Cherry Key!
