Re: HOW WEARY YOU MUST BE.

We liked you better when you were wacking stuff.
I'll second that

Pinheaded military dictators are the worst, most small-minded, reactionary, suspicious dolts in the world. That's why the military should NEVER be allowed near the running of government, and government should NEVER depend on the military to run things. The potential for abuse like this is only too clear.

My thoughts and best wishes go out to these people, may the tyrants relent and aid reach them soon.

OK, that wasn't so funny

If you have nothing to contribute to this very serious thread, put a cork in it.

Seriously.

MoreBlaBlaBla,

I've just said a little prayer for you that you will be relieved of your misery and that you might experience some of the joy of life.

Hope it helps.

Who mentioned "Christ"....and who mentioned fear or hatred of him?

Nanotech:
Reptilicus:

Look, either they will or they won't.

If they do, the believers will say "See our prayers worked and God was merciful".

if they don't, the believers will say "God MUST have a plan and we should pray for those people to have the strength to see it through"

And of course, it's just dumb luck either way...or something more substantial like diplomatic pressure and political necessity.

How very Christophobic of you............LOL.

And given that none of us have too much faith in the prayers working........

What's the next step? Plane drops of relief-supplies in direct defiance of the govt ? Would that be seen as an 'act of war' by the dictator govt ?

Oh Nano, you really AREN'T able to grasp the simple fact that 'God' does not equal 'Christian God', are you?

Apparently, that is just what France (and I think several other nations) are proposing, probably under UN auspices -- maybe with UN forces distributing the aid.

Whatever

It's not like you're anything but the Court Jester here anyway...

Boat carrying aid for Myanmar cyclone victims sinks as death toll jumps to 28,000

YANGON, Myanmar (AP): Myanmar's monumental task of feeding and sheltering 1.5 million cyclone survivors suffered yet another blow when a boat laden with relief supplies - one of the first international shipments - sank on its way to the disaster zone.

Did we not pray hard enough? Was God too busy answering the prayers for the Suns to win? Did those praying to win the lottery clog up the prayer hotline?
