At the precinct caucuses on the night of the Texas primary I met several Obama supporters who were nothing like the ones here in the Fray. Too bad there aren't more here like the ones I met. I remember one in particular. She wasn't a precinct chairperson but she was very helpful She clearly knew the caucus rules. I personally thanked her for being there, Attendance was huge and the precinct chairpersons and secretaries were swamped. They needed all the help they could get.

And that is correct. Geographically the overwhelming majority of the nation votes Republican.

But the major population centers are mostly Democratic, which counteracts the geographic advantage.
