one of my top 10 cookbooks
by hannabell
I received Vincent's cookbook as a gift in the early 70's and still refer to it. It is more than a collection of recipes, it is also a travelogue, a culinary snapshot and eulogy of the 50's and 60's, and it reflects Mr. Price's appreciation of fine art, food and good company. Reading the menus from famous but now gone restaurants is guarantied to bring a smile on the face of anyone over 50. The $150 to $200 for a good condition copy is well worth it.
Thank you for drawing attention to this cookbook after all these years.
