If we must be realists about an animated movie, perhaps we should comment on robots exhibiting human emotions, such as love.

However, recognizing that it is a work of fiction, an animated movie designed to please all members of a family, perhaps we should view any literal interpretations of anything in the movie as being a bit silly. Instead, we should recognize the movie for what it truly is--a metaphor.
